The Kentucky Division of Water, Frankfort, Kentucky

What: Public Meeting to Discuss the Development of a Total Maximum
Daily Load and Other Projects in the Floyds Fork Watershed

When: November 15, 2011 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Where: Eastern High School
12400 Old Shelbyville Road

Why: EPA Region 4 and Kentucky Division of Water will host a

To begin the meeting, the Kentucky Division of Water (DOW)

development efforts. DOW will also introduce the proposed
water-quality targets for nutrients and describe the
methodology used to develop the targets.

EPA Region 4 will present the watershed (runoff) model for
stakeholder comment and review. EPA will be looking for
public participation in reviewing the model at this
developmental step as well as reviewing and commenting on
the data used for the model.

Members of the public who wish to obtain additional
information regarding this public meeting may contact the
U.S. EPA Region 4, via e-mail at floydsfork@epa.gov.

8664 Public Hearing Notice

Subject: Next week's public meetings

Everyone has different reasons for caring about how the ORBP impacts our future.

Crossing the East End Bridge in your lifetime
Reconnecting with the west end
Tolls
Creating a more vibrant and sustainable city
Revitalizing Shippingport and Portland
Removing Spaghetti from our waterfront
Whatever your reason, you need to show up at one of the meetings next week. No excuses, it's time to show up.

Tuesday's Kentucky Public Meeting
June 28, 2011
4-8 p.m.
Holiday Inn Hurstbourne
1325 Hurstbourne Parkway
Louisville, KY

Get there early and sign up to speak! The first 100 supporters will get FREE decals. Hey, whatever works. Look for JC and Tyler for instructions on what to do.

Take a look at the proposed Spaghetti Junction
The ORBP recently released a rendering of the new Spaghetti Junction. Check it out now. While its worlds better than it was, it still has major issues. It still requires tolls on I-65 and will create greater bottlenecks at Hospital Curve and the Cochran Tunnel. We need less, not more Spaghetti.
