An awareness bike ride to the Farms in the Floyds Fork area.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 8am - noon
(Short Ride - 5 miles .... Long Ride - 13 miles)
Begin at Blackacre Nature Preserve - 9 AM
To CARPOOL with bike racks or to BIKE to Blackacre, meet at the Bike Shop 2132 Frankfort Avenue at 8 AM.
Bring a HELMET, WATER and a SACK LUNCH, and have fun!

A monthly get-together for connection, celebration, education and support. Come meet others interested in creating a more sustainable Louisville. Share thoughts, ideas, experiences about growing our own food and how to support sustainable community efforts and meet others making a difference.
And have some fun while we do it!
Everyone is welcome - whether you are growing your own food or not!
This event is now co-sponsored by Fresh Start Growers' Supply and Heine Brothers' Coffee and Farm To Fork Catering.
6:00-6:30pm arrive, eat, greet, enjoy
6:30-7:00pm Mushroom Cultivation Workshop with Eric Osborne of Magnificent Mushrooms
7:00-8:00pm enjoy the drink, food and friends
Farm to Fork will provide great organic, local appetizers to tide you over, Bring food to share if you like.
All "15th Day" events go from 6-8pm with a 30 minute varying educational talk that starts at 6:30.
Fresh Start Growers' Supply will be our 'home' for "15th Day". Here are the upcoming dates:
